We love this recipe in our household.

The kids always demolish it, and it is a great recipe for birthday parties. You can add in your own veggies in the mince or leave it plain.

This recipe is a variation from Fatforweightloss:

  • Serves: 3
  • Prep time: 15 minutes
  • Cook time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp almond meal
  • 150g sausage mince
  • ¼ zucchini
  • ¼ carrot
  • ¼ red onion

Method

  1. Add 1 cup of cheese to a bowl and microwave for 90 seconds.
  2. Add in an egg and almond meal and mix well.
  3. Prepare the sausage mince, zucchini, carrot, and onion in a food processor.
  4. Put the mixture between two sheets of baking paper and roll out. Make sure the mixture is not too thin otherwise the sausage meat will expand and break the outside. Put the sausage mincemeat on the inside and roll. Put in the oven for 15mins on 180 degrees.
