Online Run Coaching
Training to break 20 minutes for a 5K parkrun, or break the 3-hour marathon barrier, or want to improve all your PBs? On The Run Coaching will help you achieve these goals.
I offer various types of coaching:
Ongoing Coaching
Your very own personalised program provided monthly via the free Final Surge app, which automatically syncs all workouts to your Garmin watch.

- Unlimited communication via email or phone
- Unlimited training plan modifications
- Ongoing analysis and feedback on your training
- One monthly fee with no contract or minimum term
- Race day advice
- Strength & Conditioning program (optional)
Your commitment
- Upload training runs via Garmin, Strava or Final Surge.
- Provide a fortnightly report on your training via email.
Tailored Training Programs for a specific event
Wanting to run a marathon or 5k, but don’t know where to start?

I have found Daniel to be a fantastic running coach. Not only has he listened carefully to my goals and adjusted them as required, he has provided detailed running plans and non-stop encouragement to reach each goal. Any question I have had whether it be regarding nutrition, gear, or race day, he has answered promptly. My running has improved out of sight under his guidance.
Since training with Daniel, I have improved my marathon time from 3 hours 46 minutes to 3 hours and 22 minutes within the space of 15 months. His communication is great, and I have enjoyed the various workouts and explanations to all my questions.
I hired Daniel during COVID to help keep up my motivation. I’m glad I did. He has kept me on point with my running and I am reaping the benefits with races returning to the calendar. I have improved my 5k and 10k times and am looking forward to improving them further.

I have been preparing my own running programs for the last few years. Although I had success, it was time for me to take my running to the next level. One of my mates had Daniel guide him to a sub 3 marathon, so I thought he would be a great fit for me.
During Daniel’s 12 week plan, I was able to beat my 10km PB by a minute. By the end of it, I was able to beat my Half Marathon PB by 4 minutes.
